Did you show Compassion? (Towards Yourself)

The death of the rising star-Sushant Singh Rajput has affected a lot of people. Out of the six sessions that I took yesterday, five clients reported feeling as though this was a personal loss.

That could be because they related to him due to his background, his journey, his struggles etc., It is being speculated that he was a victim of bullying and nepotism. M

aybe that also is a common factor as many people go through this struggle as well.

There have been a lot of people posting about how we should be kind to others, how we should be available for others. While that surely is the right thing to do and no one deserves being unheard, I wanted this post to serve as a reminder that it is equally important to be compassionate about our own struggles and journeys.

You may get triggered when a post would remind you that you didn't take care of your friend/(s). However, it is essential to create some boundaries to protect yourself. This does not mean you don't take accountability. It just means taking accountability while holding yourself compassionately (without punishing yourself)!
